At Positive Property Management we are adhering to Government guidelines on how to operate safely during the Covid 19 pandemic.  Moving home and associated activities are currently able to continue, however, the situation continues to change and so we will continue to adapt our processes.

Here are some of the measures we are taking to keep everyone safe while we are working:

Covid 19 Protocol for Viewings

In person viewings can still be undertaken, however, an applicant must first undertake a virtual tour of the property and undergo initial vetting to ensure the property matches their requirements and that they are genuinely interested. The number of viewings will be kept to a minimum and open houses will not be allowed.

Before any visit to a property goes ahead, the occupants will be given at least 24 hours notice and   all parties must confirm in writing that they do not have symptoms of Covid 19 or have been asked to self isolate.                 A maximum of two adults from the same household and the agent may attend a viewing.  Children should not attend viewings and the viewing time will be kept to a minimum.    Occupants should go out during the viewing and windows and doors should be opened to increase ventillation.  Face coverings and gloves must be worn and social distancing maintained during the visit.  Effort will be made to avoid touching surfaces, door handles etc where possible. After the viewing the occupiers should clean surfaces and handles.  Additional viewings to the property are allowed once terms are agreed but will be kept to a minimum.

Covid 19 Protocol for   Contractor/Agent Appointments

Gas safety, electrical safety and necessary maintenance visits will still be undertaken where possible and in agreement with the occupants.  Routine property inspections will be delayed or undertaken virtually while Oxfordshire remains in Tier 4.  Less urgent repairs, maintenance and cleaning will be undertaken in the time period after a tenant moves out and before a new tenant moves in.

Before any visit to a property goes ahead, the occupants will be given at least 24 hours notice.  A  ll parties must notify each other if they have symptoms of Covid 19, are shielding or have been asked to self isolate so that the appointment can be postponed.  Occupants should go out during the contractor/agent visit if possible and windows and doors should be opened to increase ventilation.  Face coverings and gloves must be worn, social distancing should be maintained and effort made to avoid touching surfaces, door handles etc during the visit.
